General.
Haryana School Teachers Selection Board (HSTSB) has been constituted vide HaryanaGovernment School Education Department Notification 8/1-2011-CO (1) dated 18 February 2012.The HSTSB will be directly recruiting Teachers, Teacher Educators and Education Supervisors forSchool Education Department.
The prescribed essential qualification does NOT entitle a candidate to be called for
interview. The Board may short list the candidates fofjte by holding a written examination or on the basis of a rationale criterion to be adopted by the Board. The decision of the Board in all matters relating to acceptance or reject' ,of an applicatton, eligibility/suitability of the candidates,mode of, and criteria for selection etc." ill be fir I and binding on the candidates. No inquiry or correspondence will be entertained this regard.
Read the Advertisement carefully especially with regard to Educational qualifications,Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School teachers eligibility test(STET), conditions of Exemption, Hindi /Sanskrit up to Matric, or 10+2/BA/MA with hindi as one of the subjects.Separate cadre for District Mewat, implying that posting will only be in District Mewat. Upper agerelaxation for teachers, pay scale and reservation of posts must be clearly understood..
Eligibility and qualifications
Basic. Eligibility and qualifications will be given in the Advertisement. School TeachersEligibility Test (STET) /Haryana Teachers eligibility Test (HTET) is exempted for teachers who till31/03/2012 have worked for minimum 4 years in privately managed Govt Aided Schools, Recognised
Schools and Govt Schools. They will have to qualify HTET not later than April 2015 otherwise theirServices will be terminated. Qualification and eligibility conditions will be determined with regard tolast date fixed for receipt of applications also called as closing date given in the advertisement.
5. Reservation Certificate required
Reservation for SC/BC/PHC/ESM/DESM/DFF /0SP is only for domicile of Haryana and as per Haryana Government instructions

Disabled ESM/Dependent of killed/Disabled in Action as per following priority:-
Disabled ESM with disability 20%to 50%
Up to two dependents of Service personnel killed/Disabled beyond 50%(c) Other ESM
Authority Haryana Govt letter No 945-GS-11 72/6451 Dated 06 March 1972
Note 1:- Disabled ESM will mean ESM who, while serving in the Armed Forces of the Union were disabled in operations against the enemy or in disturbed areas.Note 2:- Dependents will include besides wife/widow, dependent sons/daughters.
Sports Haryana None of the persons below shall fall within the definition of word DESM in terms of Haryana Govt letter no 12/37/79-GS11, Dated 21-11-1980
A person may be working on an adhoc basis against the post advertised or some where else.
A person may be unemployed at the time of making the application but he may have other source of income viz. from agriculture, trade, property, Bank Balance etc.(c) A person who is a member of the joint Hindu Family and remains dependent upon The Karta till there is partition in the Family or he ceases to be a member of the joint Hindu family and is obliged to pass on all his income to the Karta and he draws money for
His subsistence from the pool of the joint H du roily with the consent of the Karta
(d) A candidate who is a mem, Hindu Family is employed on adhoc basis but he is otherwise deptndent on his father conditions
DESM candidates who fulfil of qualifications, age etc prescribed for posts will be considered on merit for the posts reserved for ESM to the extent of nonavailability of suitable ESM candidates
DFF candidates who fulfill all conditions of qualifications, age etc prescribed for posts willbe considered on merit for posts reserved for ESM to the extent of non availability ofsuitable DESM candidates
6. Age. The Age is 18 years to 40 years.
In case of SC/BC/PHC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable as per Haryana Govtinstructions
For ESM candidates relaxation up to continuous Military service added by three years.
For Teachers working in privately managed Govt aided Schools, Recognised Schoolsand Govt Schools upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years.
Experience. Experience wherever applicable will be considered, only after acquiring theEssential Qualification and up to the last date of submission of application, along with Salary.Fee
Fee. The fee for general candidates is Rs 150/- and for SC/BC/PHC candidates of Haryana
Only, Rs 35/-Fee should be deposited in Haryana Govt Treasury under the head"2202-GeneralEducation02 Secondary Education 001-Direction and Administration (99) Administrative Staff (96)Establishment Of Haryana School Teachers Selection Board(Plan) for the current financial year 2011-12"Applicants residing outside Haryana and Chandigarh can send the fee in the form of Indian Postal Orders which should be payable to the Secretary, Haryana School Teachers Selection Board at Panchkula
Other parameters are as under:-
Fee sent in the form of Bank Draft/Money Oder/Indian Postal order or cash will not,
be accepted.Fee once sent with the application form is neither transferable nor refundable/adjustable.
Fee deposited before the publication of the advertisement and after the closing date will not be accepted
How to Apply
A candidate whether he belongs to general or reserved category viz. SC, BC, ESM/DESM,DFF, PHC or OSP can submit only one application for a particular category of post advertised. The special instructions must be carefully read to help in understanding and filling in the applicationform. Particularly the certificates required for upper age relaxation, Exemption HTET/STET, District Mewat Cadre and other certificates as given in Para 5 above
NO CONCESSION FEE is admissible to SC/BC/PHC applicants of other states.
ESM candidates are exempted from Payment of fee, but their Dependents (DESM) are
required to pay the fee as for general, SC or BC candidates as case may be.

Only one tick be marked in the box given especially for category. Multiple ticks, overwriting, cutting and erasions will be be construed as incomplete form and rejected.
Examinations. Candidate to give details of all examinations passed from matriculation or its equivalent onwards and mention total and percentage of marks obtained and maximum marks in each examination. For the Haryana STET examination passed, additional details of month and year of examination and the Roll Number be also given.
Photocopy. Attach photocopy of certificates from competent authority, viz. educational certificates, reservation certificates, domicile certificates, ESM ID and DESM, PHC, DFF certificates and OSP gradation certificate and guest teacher service above for details of certificates required.
Fake Institutions. Candidates, whichave.obtaRed degrees or diplomas or certificates forvarious courses from any instituti09 declared fake by the University Grants Commission orDepartment of Education Haryana shall be eligible for being considered for recruitment to theposts advertised.Serving Government Employees. Serving Government Employees should send their application form well in time through proper channel. They may, however, send an advance copydirect to the Board.

Eligibility certificate in case of DESM issued by Zila Sainik Board.
Sports Gradation certificate issued by competent
Authority for outstanding sports person.

Likely Causes of Rejection of Application
The following are the likely cause of Rejection :-
More than one Application for a particular category.
Application is not in the prescribed format given in the Advertisement
Unsigned and Incomplete Application.
Full fee if not deposited in the manner prescribed or proof thereof not attached.
Experience certificate, where applicable, is without detail of salary per month received.
Application without the required attached certificates
